Landon Yost is a narrative film director and environmental portrait photographer drawn to the quiet, complex ways people connect with each other and the natural world. His work reflects on unobserved moments of the raw, imperfect cycles of life and brings those subtleties into focus on screen.

He earned his BA in Screen Studies and Film Production from The New School, and his foundation in photojournalism and documentary filmmaking continues to shape how he approaches story and image.

With more than 13 years of experience working above and below the line on major film and television productions, he values the necessity of independent cinema and equity within the film industry. Throughout his career, Landon has worked with publications such as Document Journal, GQ and The Face alongside networks like Comedy Central and Adult Swim.

At the core of his work is a deep curiosity for the human condition. Landon approaches visual storytelling with a documentarian's eye and a staunch respect for authenticity, always looking to capture humanity in life's fleeting moments.
